Article 47. Effects of non-payment of tuition.

  1. Non-payment of public fees or prices for a registration in no case produces the ex officio cancellation of the registration made, in the terms set forth in article 45.
  2. Said non-payment implies the withdrawal of registration as an act assimilated to the sudden abandonment of the teachings that the students have been taking, with the following academic consequences:
    a) Once this situation occurs, students will not be able to be admitted to the evaluation tests of the courses in which they have enrolled to pass the subjects or subjects affected by the non-payment.
    b) As they do not constitute an ex officio cancellation of registration, the academic calls will be counted for all purposes and the administrative acts that have been carried out during the course, prior to withdrawal, will be recorded in the documents of the personal academic record, such as additional calls granted, credits recognized or other circumstances included in the applicable regulations .
    c) Students will not be able to enroll in the corresponding courses until they have paid the tuition debt affected by the non-payment. For subsequent enrollment in the subjects affected by the withdrawal, the corresponding public rate or price will be applied for each ECTS credit in second or third enrollment, as the case may be.
